Youify Installation Guide

Youify is a Chrome extension that replaces the Spotify player with a YouTube-powered alternative. Since this is a custom project, it must be installed manually via Developer Mode.

Important: You must keep the folder on your computer after installing. If you delete or move the folder, the extension will stop working.

How to Install

Download the Code: Download the ZIP from GitHub and extract it to a folder on your computer.
Open Extensions: In your Chrome browser, type chrome://extensions/ into the address bar and press Enter.
Enable Developer Mode: In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle the switch that says Developer mode to ON.
Load the Extension:
- Click the Load unpacked button that appeared in the top-left.
- Select the youify folder (the one containing the manifest.json file).
Refresh Spotify: Open Spotify Web Player and refresh the page to start using Youify.

Support

This extension works on Spotify playlists, artist pages, and album pages. If you update the code, simply click the "Reload" icon on the extension card in chrome://extensions/.
